Introduction: In 1978 I began writing in earnest, sci-fi stories and thoughts, by 1983 I had begun writing for therapeutic reasons. In 1989 after hearing some of my work, my friend David Cucuzza talked me into reading at the Espresso Bar coffeehouse in Pasadena.
